Hansa Consult of North America, LLC (HCNA) provides U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Third-party certified leak detection products and services for hydrant and pipeline systems and has been providing the latest leak detection technology to the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and commercial aviation customers for the past decade.

HCNA utilizes the HCNA Leak Detection System (HCNA LDS) to perform real time pressure measurement for detecting leaks in underground pipelines accurately and quickly proving the tightness of any pressurized liquid filled pipeline system. HCNA's LDS is the most advanced liquid pipeline leak detection system in the world and is designed to be installed on existing fuel systems or can be included as a component of a new installation.

In accordance with API 1110 and 1130, HCNA LDS, based on the Pressure-Step method, meets or exceeds the highest national and international standards. The HCNA Pressure-Step methodology is employed by both our permanently installed and "point-in-time" applications, and all HCNA LDS options offer the same performance accuracy and 45 minute test time. Our leak detection services include fully automated, permanent installations and point-in-time testing with mobile and "suitcase" units designed specifically for airport fuel hydrant, tank farm, and transfer piping systems. We maintain a diverse staff of engineers, technicians, and management personnel providing expertise in fuel system operation and maintenance. Our capabilities begin with system design and manufacturing, and continue through installation, commissioning, and maintenance of systems specific to each unique site requirement (see HCNA LDS for details).

Once installations of the HCNA LDS are commissioned, HCNA provides on-going support, providing annual certification and maintenance of the leak detection system, including testing to comply with federal, state and local regulations. HCNA LDS is currently in operation at numerous locations including some of the world's largest airports and consistently demonstrates its accuracy and reliability.
